CONNOR, DEREK - Passed away January 14, 2019, peacefully, at hospital, late of 132 Carmeen Drive, Newtownabbey, (ex army veteran of the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards), much-loved husband of Valerie, loving dad of Jason and father-in-law of Lisa, dear grandfather of Katie and Phoebe. Will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Funeral Service will be held in his late home on Friday 18th January 2019 at 12.15 p.m. with committal afterwards in Carnmoney Cemetery. With tears we saw you suffer as we watched you fade away, our hearts were almost broken as you fought so hard to stay. We knew you had to leave us, but you never went alone. For part of us went with you the day you left your home.
