POLLAND, EDWARD JOSEPH (JODY) - May 18, 2019, peacefully, at home, 85 Islandmagee Road, Whitehead, formerly of Spence's Mountain, Glasdrumman, dearly-beloved husband of Maisie and much-loved father of Jennifer, Barry and Anne, father-in-law of Steve, Clare and John and loving grandfather of Natasha, Aimee and Jodie. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his gentle soul. His remains will leave M.J. Sawey and Sons Chapel of Rest on Friday 24th May 2019 to arrive at 11 Shimna Wood, Newcastle, BT33 OTW for 10.30 a.m., followed by Requiem Mass in St Mary's Church, Glasdrumman at 1.00 p.m. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. "To walk in peace again in Mourne, the place you loved and knew you would return." Family flowers only please.
