FARQUHAR, ANTHONY - Farquhar, The Most Reverend Anthony, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Down and Connor. Died 17th Nov 2023 peacefully at Nazareth Care Village. Bishop Anthony's remains will arrive at St Bernadette's Church, Rosetta, on Wednesday 22nd for the Liturgy of Reception at 7.00pm, Bishop Anthony's remains will repose there until 9.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Ormeau Road, on Thursday 23rd at 12 noon followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Deeply regretted by his sister Anne, Bishop Donal McKeown, Apostolic Administrator, Bishop Patrick Walsh, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Down and Connor, Clergy, Religious and Lay Faithful of the Diocese of Down and Connor. St Malachy & St MacNissi, Patrons of the Diocese, pray for him.
