DIXON, DOUGLAS EDWARD (DOUGIE) - Peacefully, at Altnagelvin Hospital on 28th December 2023, surrounded by his loving family in his 84th year. Much loved husband of Greta, loving father of David, Gillian and Trevor, dearest father-in-law of Gwenda, Niall and Leanne, adored grandfather of Ryan, Jason, Luke, Ben, Shay, Freya and the late baby Dean, dear brother of the late George. Funeral leaving his late home 132, Victoria Road, Magheramason on Saturday 30th December, at 12 noon followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for his life in Dunnalong Parish Church at 12.30pm burial afterwards in Mountcastle Cemetery.  Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Dunnalong Parish Church c/o Mrs. Ruth Hay, Funeral Directors, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Londonderry, BT47 3QQ. House private. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his entire family circle. God's garden surely must be beautiful, He only takes the best.
