BURNS, JOSEPH -   Died peacefully 29th June 2024 surrounded by family. Late of Ardavon Park and formerly Clanchattan Street. Joseph was a dearly loved father to Karin, Neale and Joanne and cherished grandfather to Sinead, Finnuala, Niamh, Kieran, Ruth and Max. Loving husband to the late Ruth Burns, nee Paden (1936-2014) Joseph will be much missed by all who know him including wider family, friends and the North Belfast community. Joseph's remains will repose at O'Kanes Funeral Directors 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast BT1 2GX until the evening of 2nd July when they will return to the home of his granddaughter Sinead. Funeral Mass will take place at 11.00am on Wednesday 3rd July at Holy Family Church on the Limestone Road followed by interment in Milltown Cemetery. A celebration of Joseph's life will take place at Ben Madigan's Bar & Kitchen on the Cavehill Road. Flowers and cards welcome. "I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way".
