SHIELDS, IRIS - 1st October 2024, peacefully in Beverly Lodge Nursing Home. Late of Forest Hill, Conlig. Beloved wife of Jim, much loved mother of Terry and the late Jennifer and mother-in-law of Jill and Barry. Devoted and adored grandmother of Sophie, Ben, Megan and Andrew and a dearly loved great grandmother of Nathan, Chloe and Matthew, also adored by her wee dog Leo. Service in S Clarke & Son's Funeral Church, Newtownards on Friday 11th October 2024, at 12:30pm. Funeral afterwards to Roselawn Crematorium. No Flowers please. Donations may be sent if desired to Alzheimer's Society NI c/o S Clarke & Son Funeral Directors, 12 Court Square, Newtownards, BT23 7NY. She was the most caring, loving, positive person one could ever come to meet not to mention strong and brave until the very end. We love you so much and you will be sorely missed by us all.
