Blythe, James (Jim)

BLYTHE, JAMES (JIM) - Died November 6, 2019. In memorium by his daughter Lizzy Shannon. Jim, born 1st August 1925, attended Belfast High School where he captained the rugby team, later playing for Malone Rugby Club. He joined Royal Insurance as a junior clerk, progressing to General Manager. Maureen Frazer and he met at a tennis club and married in 1953. They loved to travel and visited many exotic places together. In later life his passion was gardening, but most of all, he loved his dogs. The latest, Cooper, faithfully kept Jim company for the past 11 years. Jim lived a moral, good life, and has left a huge hole in the hearts of his family. Miss you very much, Dad. Cherished husband and father - a long life well lived. His peace was found in nature.
