Carmichael, Brigid
CARMICHAEL, BRIGID - 1st Anniversary. 16th December 2021. The family of the late Brigid Carmichael (nee McLaughlin), R.I.P., wish to thank everyone who supported & sympathised with us during this time of loss & great sadness. A beloved daughter of John (R.I.P.) & Mary (R.I.P.), much missed sister to Anne-Marie (R.I.P.), Susan, James Gerald, Kathleen (R.I.P.) & Joseph, loving wife to Cathal (R.I.P.), devoted mother to Órla, Aileén, Céire & Cathal & adoring grandmother to Ava, Cillian, James & Shauna. Thank you to all who called at our home, sent Mass & sympathy cards, took time to pen letters, left floral tributes & gifts, as well as all those who attended the funeral, especially those who had to travel long distances. A special mention to our extended family, friends & neighbours who all helped so willingly preparing the house & providing refreshments both at the wake & following the funeral. Our sincere thanks go to the priests of the parish: Fr. Chris McDermott for his touching sermon, Mnsgnr. Brian McCanny for his spiritual support & Fr. Liam McClarey for concelebrating the mass. Thanks to the gravediggers, sacristan, Glack G.A.C. & Liam & Jeannette Kelly for their beautiful music. Also to W.J. O'Brien& Son for the professional & dignified manner in which the funeral was carried out. Our thanks should also go to all the past & present medical staff of Bovalley Medical Centre, Altnagelvin Hospital, Roe Valley Mental Health team & the Evish Ward, Grangewood who were so caring & supportive towards Mummy throughout her later years. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincerest appreciation. Eternal rest grant unto Her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon Her. May Her Soul, & all the Souls of the Faithfully Departed through the Mercy of God, Rest In Peace. Amen. Her First Anniversary Mass will be held in St. Finlough's Chapel, Loughermore Road, Ballykelly on Saturday 17th December at 6pm. All are most welcome to attend.
