RUSSELL, ALEX (SANDY) - The sons and family circle of the late Alex (Sandy) Russell wish to express their sincere thanks to all those kind relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with them following the recent passing of Alex (Sandy) and to all those who sent letters, cards and donations in lieu of flowers to N.I. Chest, Heart & Stroke. Particular thanks to Reverend David Brice of Glengormley Presbyterian Church, Chairman of Linfield F.C. Mr. Jim Kerr and Mr. Jackie Fullerton for their kind tributes to Alex (Sandy) during the Funeral Service and to all the relatives, friends, neighbours and the Committee Members, Past and Present Players and Supporters of Linfield F.C. who attended the funeral. Our thanks are also due to Dr. C. Spence of Tramways Medical Centre, the Doctors and Nursing Staff of Ward C3 Antrim Area Hospital and all the Ladies in the Care Teams of Homecare Independent Living who all cared for Alex (Sandy) in recent years and enabled him to fulfil his wish to remain living at home.
