MURPHY, DANNY DR. - (R.I.P). We the brothers, sisters and entire family circle of the late Dr. Danny Murphy (R.I.P), would like to thank sincerely all those who sympathised with them during their recent sad bereavement. To all those who travelled long distances from all parts of the Island of Ireland, Canada and England to attend his wake and funeral, gave or sent Mass offerings, floral tributes, letters and cards of sympathy. To our relatives, friends, neighbours, to St. Mary's G.A.A. Burren, to the Officers of the Ulster Council G.A.A., to the Match Stewards, to the Staff of the Ulster Council, to the Down County Board, to The Canal Court for providing food during the wake, to Point Hire for providing road lighting, to the Garda Siochana, to David Knox PSNI for their practical help, kindness and support and to all who helped in so many ways. A special word of thanks to Rev. Fr. C. Byrne for his prayerful support during Danny's health issues and throughout his wake. To Rev. Fr. Byrne, Cardinal S. Brady, Fr. G. Donaghy and Fr. T. McAteer who celebrated Danny's Requiem Mass and attended at the grave-side. Also our thanks to Archbishop Eamon Martin, Bishop McAreavey, Canon Kearney, Canon Brown and other Religious who attended his wake. To the Doctors and Nurses who helped to improve Danny's health and the quality of his life over recent years. To Mrs. Hearty and the choir for the beautiful music and singing during the Requiem Mass. To Aogan O Fearghail, Uachtaran for the meaningful oration. To McAnulty's Funeral Directors for their caring and dignified funeral arrangements. To the grave diggers. To St. Mary's G.A.A. for the tasty meal provided. To former Irish President Mary McAleese, Dr. Martin and Chief Constable George Hamilton and other Dignitaries who attended his Requiem Mass. To all our sincere thanks and gratitude. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Danny's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 7th January at 7.30 p.m. in St Mary's Church Burren. May his gentle soul rest in peace. 72 Grinan Road, Newry.
