JOHNSTON, IVAN McDOWELL - The wife and family circle of the late Ivan Johnston wish to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. Many thanks to family, friends and neighbours who sent cards, telephoned, text messages, emails, attended the Funeral Service and helped in any other way. Thanks to Dr. Cheyne, Ormeau Park Surgery for their unfailing care and attention. A special word of thanks to the speakers, John Wilkinson, Lawrence McHugh, Gordon Mailey, Carson McDowell and Peter Morrison who shared in the service with words of comfort and prayers. Also thanks to Bill Reid and Staff of Douglas Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements.
