MAWHINNEY, SAMUEL (SAM) - The daughters, family and family circle of the late Sam Mawhinney wish to express their sincere thanks to all those kind relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. A very special word of thanks to Rev. Lynne Gibson and Rev. Ken Gamble for conducting the funeral service, and for the compassion and support shown to Sam and his family during his illness. Sincere thanks also to all who cared for Sam, particularly the Doctors at The Hill Medical Group, the dedicated District Nurses and the Staff from Connected Health for their unfailing care and attention. Thank you to all the friends and neighbours who visited or telephoned Sam during his illness, and who supported the family. Thanks also to all who made donations for the R.V.H. Intensive Care Unit (cheques payable to Ronnie Thompson Donations Account), sent cards of sympathy, telephoned, called at the home, brought gifts, attended the funeral or helped in any way. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
