CLARKE, VIOLET - The family of the late Violet Clarke wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us following the loss of a much loved mother, grandmother and sister. We were greatly comforted and supported by the many family members, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who visited us, assisted at the home, brought food, sent messages of sympathy, gave donations to Friends of the Cancer Centre and Marie Curie Centre, Belfast. A sincere thank you to all who helped care for Gran during the final months of her illness, at home at Ballylesson and latterly at Marie Curie Centre, Belfast. We are indebted to Brenda and her district nursing team, the medical staff at Cancer Centre and Belvoir Surgery who for many weeks ensured she received high quality, compassionate meticulous care so she could be at home with us for as long as possible. During this time the receptionist team at Belvoir Surgery and Medicare Pharmacy, Forestside ensured necessary treatment was always quickly available. Following her admission to Marie Curie Centre, Belfast, Gran continued to receive high quality compassionate care from the dedicated skilled nursing and medical team who ensured her remaining time was as comfortable as possible. We as a family will be forever grateful for the kindness and empathy which was so reassuring during a very difficult time. We would like to thank Mr. Gary Lee, Mrs. Shirley Carrington, Archdeacon Richard Rountree, and our minister, Rev. Mervyn Ewing, for conducting the funeral services so eloquently at our home and at St. James Parish Church, Aughnacloy and also to Jean Archibald who presided at the organ. Special thanks to Leslie Holmes and Team, Funeral Directors, Dungannon for their professional caring manner guiding us through the days of the funeral in a sensitive dignified way with tremendous attention to detail. We are indebted to Heather Crozier and her catering team for providing refreshments for everyone after the service. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all in heartfelt appreciation. Ballylesson, Belfast and Aughnacloy.
