SHIRLOW, ALBERT - The wife Betty, son Darren and family of the late Albert Shirlow wish to express their most sincere thanks to all those kind relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. A special word of thanks to the Rev. Andrew Thompson for conducting the Funeral Service and for his words of comfort and prayers. Thanks to all the ladies at St. Columba’s Church for serving the refreshments after the funeral. To the family doctors at Linenhall Medical Practice and all the staff at Pond Park Nursing Home for all their unfailing care and attention. To all those who sent donations for Parkinson’s Society (cheques payable to Ronnie Thompson Donations Account), sent letters and cards of sympathy, telephoned, called at the home, brought gifts, attended the funeral or helped in any way. Special thanks to Trevor Alexander and staff of Ronnie Thompson Funeral Directors for the caring and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
