BAILIE, DAWSON - (Past County Grand Master Belfast). The wife and family of the late Dawson Bailie would like to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them during their recent sad bereavement. Thanks to all those kind relatives and friends who sent cards, letters and donations, who visited the family home and helped in any way. Thanks to the Doctors and Nursing Staff at the Ulster and Ards Hospitals who treated Dawson and also the many Carers who looked after him at home. Thanks to all those who attended his funeral, especially the members of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland, County Grand Lodge of Belfast, visiting Grand Lodge Officers and all other Brethren. Thanks to the Officers and members of the Royal Ulster Constabulary George Cross Association for their contribution at the funeral. Special thanks to the Rev. Mervyn Gibson (Grand Secretary) for conducting the funeral service and for his care and attention during Dawson’s time in hospital. Grateful thanks to the Officers and members of Kilcooley Presbyterian Church for their unstinting support and kindness in hosting the funeral tea at the Church Hall. Thanks also to the Officers and members of the Meadowbank Club, Donaghadee for their generosity in providing refreshments in the Club after the committal in Ballyvester Cemetery.
