CROTHERS, Prof Derrick S.F. - The family of the late Derrick Crothers would like to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. Sincere thanks to all who sent cards, messages, tributes, flowers and gave donations to the Alzheimer's charities. And to all those who played rugby with him at his beloved North of Ireland CFC and then at Belfast Harlequins RFC. And to all those at Queen's who went on to do their PhD under his supervision - he was very proud of them all. Also the family would like to thank those who took care of him in Malone Residential Home where he spent the last days of his life, the staff in Ward C of the Mater Hospital for their kindness, and O'Kane's Funeral Directors and staff for their caring, dignified manner in dealing with the funeral arrangements. It is not possible to thank everyone individually, but we hope that this acknowledgement might be accepted with our sincere gratitude. Thank you sincerely, the Crothers family.
