DOWNEY LEONARD ALEXANDER   Barbara, Philip, Jeremy and Christopher, the wife and sons of the late Leonard Downey wish to thank most sincerely all those who supported us through Leonard's illness and sad bereavement. As a family we greatly appreciated all the telephone calls, text messages, cards and letters of sympathy, and were humbled by the kind donations made to Friends of Altnagelvin in his name. To those who helped in many ways with acts of kindness, all of which provided great comfort to us, to those who paid their respects by standing at the roadside on Rushall Road, Church Brae and Church Road, a heartfelt thanks.   Thank you also to the Reverend Boyd for the kindly manner in which he conducted the family funeral service, and to Dr Daly, Dr Dolan and staff for their care and support during such a difficult time. We also wish to thank the medical nursing staff at Altnagelvin Hospital, and finally, to Ruth and David Hay for the exemplary manner in which the funeral arrangements were conducted.   We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation.   The Downey Family.
