JOHNSTON, JANET BENNETT (Née PATTERSON) - Died 3 May 2021. Husband Sam, daughter Suzanne and sons Robin and Colin, their spouses and her great-grandchildren thank all those family relatives and friends who gave them such caring comfort and support in their time of loss. Your presence at the church and / or cremation, your cards and letters and spoken words, the gifts of food and drink, all were greatly appreciated. Even more so now we have time to reflect on all that has happened. We are particularly thankful to the management and staff of Bloomfield Nursing Home who took good care of Janet throughout the Covid pandemic and demonstrated their concern and consideration for the family in Janet's final week. And with that we would also include Dr. Keith Scott's care and attention. Finally, we thank Rev. Danny Rankin and Strand Presbyterian Church officials for all their support in our planning and arrangements and particularly when those arrangements were disrupted by the Covid bug the necessary changes were effected and Janet was given the funeral she deserved. Our heartfelt thanks to you all.
