McFARLAND, THOMAS (BERTIE) - The family of the late Thomas McFarland (Bertie) wish to extend their gratitude and thanks to the many friends, neighbours and relatives for their expression of sympathy on their sad bereavement. Thanks also  to those who sent cards, letters and condolences and donations to  Marie Curie and NI. Hospice. A heartfelt and sincere appreciation for the help and support given by the Multi Disciplinary Team of the NHS with special gratitude to the doctors, nursing team and staff of Inver Surgery, Larne for their dedication and quality of care and kindness to the family at all times. Gratitude to the Optimom Team for the diligent sensitivity with which they carried out their duties. The family would also like to thank the Rev. Philip Benson of St Patrick's Church Cairncastle for his prayers and pastoral care and also the Rev. Mark Taylor for his advice and guidance to the family and conducting the funeral, prayers and service. Grateful thanks also to the congregation and parishioners of St. Patrick's and All Saints for their help and support. Thanks to E. W. Ramsey for the sensitive and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Many thanks to Cairndhu Golf Club for refreshments following the funeral.
