Moody , John

MOODY , JOHN - The family circle of the late John Moody wish to convey their thanks to all who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. We wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to those who called at the family home, brought gifts, telephoned, sent cards, and made donations in lieu of flowers to Waterside Presbyterian Church and Foyle Hospice. The support of neighbours, friends and family during John's last few months helped support him as he approached the end of his life and meant so much to those of us caring for him. A special word of thanks to Rev. Gordy McCracken for conducting the funeral and to the members of Waterside Presbyterian Church who on the day of the funeral took care of arrangements so that everything ran smoothly, that would have been so important to Dad. We want to take this opportunity also to mention friendship and pastoral care that Billy McIlwaine shared with Dad, these visits and conversations were so important. We wish also to acknowledge the care, professionalism and commitment of Formal Carers who looked after Dad during his illness. This includes Domiciliary Carers, Community Palliative Care Team from Foyle Hospice, all the medical Staff but especially Dr. Black and finally the District Nursing Team from Glendermott Medical Practice. Our experiences of their care will last a long time. Finally to David and Ruth Hay, thank you for the dignified and professional manner in which you carried out the funeral arrangements. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our grateful appreciation.
