McDERMOTT, PATRICK - The family of the late Paddy McDermott would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us following our recent sad bereavement, those who messaged us, sent cards, made donations to our charity, called with us, or attended the funeral. We would like to thank Fr O Keefe for presiding at the Vigil service and to Marcas for the traditional laments. We extend a particular word of thanks to Fr David Delargy who attended Paddy during his final weeks, to Fr John Mc Manus who celebrated the Requiem Mass, and to Paul, Ciara, Alex and Neale for the beautiful choral music which made the Funeral Service so special. The family also wish to thank the nurses and carers in Parkdean Nursing Home and Ann's Home Care who were so kind and patient with Paddy during his last months. A final word of thanks to Paddy's neighbours, friends and ex- colleagues who shared happy memories, thoughts, and prayers. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude. Paddy's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 2nd December in Star of the Sea Church, Whitehouse, at 5:00pm. May he rest in peace.
