BRIGGS, ALAN - His father Eddie, sister Heather and the family circle of the late Alan Briggs wish to express their sincere thanks to all those neighbours, friends and relations who provided kind wishes and support during Alan's most recent illness and at his passing. The number of cards, personal visits and the attendance at his funeral were testimony to the love in which he was held by all who knew him. To thank everyone individually would be beyond our powers so we hope that this notice will be accepted in the spirit of gratitude in which it is meant. His Auntie Mamie and Uncle Jack were pillars during a very trying time. A special thanks must go to Jennifer Hartley (ever faithful) for her attendance on Alan and to the Rev. Dave Sweeney for the manner in which the Funeral Service and Interment were conducted. The Staff of Kirkwoods Funeral Directors made everything seamless and brought dignity to all they did. The love, kindness, dedication and support of the Staff of Somerton Homes is beyond our powers to adequately describe. Thank you all. We hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our family's very real appreciation.
