SHEPPARD SAMUEL - Mark, Ralph and Julie express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all those who supported and sympathised with us in our recent sad loss of a much-loved father, father-in-law and grandfather. We extend our thanks to all who called at the house, sent cards, letters, telephoned, posted online comments, attended the funeral and who gave donations. We thank all those associations who participated and collaborated to bring such depth and breadth of poignant, respectful tributes along the roadside, at the Church and at the graveside. Our heartfelt thanks to the Rev. Dr. David Latimer for his words of comfort and support throughout and for an emotive Funeral Service with a most perfect eulogy. Our sincere thanks to Nigel, Cecil and to Dot and Ronnie for their compassion and support and also to the Royal British Legion Welfare and ladies of the Waterside Branch for the Funeral Reception. To Gordon Donaldson and the Staff of Adair & Neely Funeral Directors for their professionalism and dignity in carrying out the funeral arrangements.
