MILLEN SAMUEL (DR)

The family wish to thank all the friends who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who called at the house, brought gifts, sent cards, letters, telephoned and made donations to the Friends of Altnagelvin. We found your individual memories of Dr. Millen particularly comforting and they reflected how much Dad was valued and loved. Further heartfelt thanks are due to all the Altnagelvin Staff of Ward 5, The Surgical Team and the I.C.U. Staff who looked after Dad in his final week, providing dignified and respectful care. Also to our dear friend Dr. Dermot Connolly and the Staff at the Riverfront Health Centre who provided exemplary care at all times. A special word of thanks to the Rev. Paul Linkens whose support, kindness and good humour helped us through difficult days. We are indebted also to the Rev. Dr. Joseph Fell and Rev. Dr. Bill Adley for their apposite and thoughtful tributes at both Services. Finally to Gordon Donaldson and the Staff at Adair & Neely Funeral Services for their professionalism and willingness to be adaptable under difficult circumstances. We hope all mentioned will accept this acknowledgement as a sincere token of our appreciation.
