McDOWELL, DAVID - Anne and the family of the late David McDowell wish to express their sincere appreciation to all who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. A special thanks to Rev. Alistair Bates BA. BD., for conducting a very moving and personal tribute to David, to the Session of Scrabo Presbyterian Church and the ladies who catered at the reception. Thanks also to the Doctors at The Surgery, Church Street, Ards District Nursing Team, Ards GP Ward, Marie Curie Breathing Space Therapy Group and all other professionals involved in David's care. Thank you to ex-colleagues at Ards PSNI who arranged for David's cortege to be accompanied to Roselawn. Thanks to friends too numerous to mention who sent cards, visited the home, attended the service and made donations in lieu of flowers to Scrabo Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund. To David Buchanan, David Doherty and the Staff of Clarke's Funeral Directors who carried out their duties in a very personal and professional manner. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. To God be the Glory, great things He has done.
