LOGAN, SAMUEL JAMES (JIM) - Jim's wife Anna and family, Kathy, Joanne and husband David and grandsons Jordon and Jonathan and the entire family circle wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sincerely sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. Heartfelt thanks to all the kind neighbours who called to the family home, brought flowers, gifts and cards and letters, attended the funeral and helped in any way. To those who gave donations in lieu to Marie Curie Hospice, Kensington Road, Dundonald, who were second to none in the care, love and attention they gave to Jim in the last few weeks of his life, with special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Volunteers. Sincere thanks also to the Rev. J. Bernett for the caring, dignified manner in which he carried out the Services at home, Lowe Memorial Church and committal at the graveside. Also Mr O McAuley for all the visits, prayers and attention that he gave to Jim over the past year. Thank you to the Presbyterian women who supplied refreshments after the service in the Martin Hall at Lowe. To all the Nurses who attended Jim in his home in a compassionate way and to Dr. M. Drake and Staff at the Cancer Centre BCH over the last few years. Finally, we thank Elwood & Capper Funeral Directors, Dunmurry who carried out the funeral arrangements with dignity and grace. God called you name so softly that only you could hear and no-one heard the footsteps of the Angels drawing near. It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you Home.
