Passed away May 12, 2014 His wife Ellen and family circle, would like to express their sincere thanks to all those who offered condolences and shared in their recent sad bereavement. To see so many attend his funeral was a lovely reflection of how popular Hugh was and gave us great comfort. Heartfelt thanks to all those who called at the family home, sent cards, gave donations in lieu of flowers to Cancer Research, attended the Funeral or helped in any way, deep gratitude is extended. Special thanks to the Dean of Belfast for conducting such a meaningful Service, to the Rev. Jim Rea for his tender words at the Service in the family home, Dr. John Kyle for the moving tribute to Hugh's life and the Rev. David Jardine for the Committal. The amazing support, kindness and respect paid to his final farewell was comforting. Finally, thanks to Houston & Williamson Funeral Directors for the dignified and caring manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement would be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
