McILHINNEY, JOHN - The family of the late John McIlhinney wish to express their appreciation to all those who offered their support and sent messages of sympathy in our bereavement. We would like to thank Reverend Dr. Paul Reid for conducting the Funeral Service and for his prayers and words of comfort. Our sincere thanks go to all those who were involved in John's care over the period of his illness, most notably the Renal Unit in Belfast City Hospital and in particular to Professor A. Maxwell, to all the Doctors, Nurses and Resuscitation Team of the Cardiac Ward B5 in Antrim Hospital who worked so hard to keep his tired heart beating and to Doctors and Nurses of Meadowbridge Surgery. We should also wish to acknowledge the professionalism, care and compassion shown by Mullholland Funeral Directors and our thanks to them for co-ordinating the donations to Belfast City Hospital Renal Unit and to all friends and family who have given money, in lieu of flowers, to this department where John spent so much time. John loved the life he lived and those loved ones in his life.
