MACARTNEY, RON - Wife Nadine, daughters Sharon and Jayne- Louise, son Duane and the family circle of the late Ron Macartney wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them following their recent sad bereavement. A special word of thanks to Tom Erwin and Rev. Fiona Forbes for all their support, words of comfort, prayers and for their parts in conducting the funeral service. Thanks also to Avril, Trevor and William for the parts they played during the service. We wish to express our gratitude and thanks to all the carers, Dr. Howie and the District Nursing Team for their unfailing care, support and attention. Thank you to all who sent cards, letters and messages of sympathy, to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who attended the funeral or helped in any way. Your presence and the sharing of loving memories have proved to be a great comfort to us all. To all those who made donations in lieu of flowers in support of the Chest, Heart and Stroke Association we thank you for your generosity.
