ARD, DORIS - The family circle of the late Doris Ard wish to express their most sincere thanks to all those kind relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. A special word of thanks to the Rev. John Brackenridge and Deaconess Evelyn Whyte for conducting the Funeral Service and for their words of comfort and prayers. To the ladies of 1st Lisburn Presbyterian Church for serving refreshments. To the family doctors Dr. Marks and Dr. Roberts and to the staff of Ward 1A Lagan Valley Hospital for their unfailing care and attention. Thank you to the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service for providing a Guard of Honour. To all those who sent donations in lieu of flowers for Parkinson's Society (cheques payable to Ronnie Thompson Donations Account), letters and cards of sympathy, telephoned, called at the home, brought gifts, attended the funeral or helped in any way. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
