McCARTHY, JOSEPH WALTER (JOE) - The family of the late Joe McCarthy would like to express their gratitude to everyone who shared their sadness in their recent bereavement. Thank you to all those who visited the house and brought gifts and flowers, sent cards and supported the family through this very difficult time. Thanks also to the Doctors and staff of Hillsborough Medical Practice, L.V.H. Respiratory Care Team, the Palliative Care Team, Carers, District Nurses and Patterson's Chemist. Heartfelt thanks to family and friends who helped to look after Joe in his last few months. Special thanks to the Rev Dr. Bryan Follis and the Rev. David Coe for conducting the funeral service and for their pastoral care, also to Bobby Morrison for the professional and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
