McSORLEY KIERAN 17th December 2015 Clanabogan, Omagh
Kieran's wife, Donna, his son Niall, together with Kieran's parents, Brian and Phyllis, brother Martin, sister Bernie and the entire family circle would like to express their sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to all those who sympathised with them on their recent tragic bereavement. Our sincere gratitude to the ambulance crew, police service and fire and rescue service who attended the scene of the accident, to the local families who assisted Kieran and those injured, to Father O'Dwyer who administered the Last Rites and to the Staff in the Northern Ireland Regional Forensic Mortuary. Thanks to our kind and very supportive relatives, friends and neighbours, to all who called to pay their respects, many of whom had travelled long distances and to those who prepared and brought food, sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards, letters and flowers. Particular thanks to Mr & Mrs Mervyn Kerr for the car parking provided and to those who assisted with traffic flow during the wake, to everyone who attended the funeral, made phone calls and prayed for the family during this difficult time, we are very grateful. Particular thanks to Kieran's dear friend, John Hill, for his unfailing support to the entire family. Our sincere thanks to Father McGirr and Mgr. Donnelly who officiated at the family home, thanks also to Father Moore and Canon Marron for their spiritual support and for concelebrating the Funeral Mass with Kieran's Uncle, Canon Patrick McSorley and Father Aidan McCrystal. Thanks to McAtee Funeral Directors for carrying out the funeral and associated arrangements in such a dignified, caring and professional manner, to the Moore family who provided the music during the funeral mass, to the readers and gift bearers and to the Sacristan, altar servers and grave- diggers. The family deeply appreciated the dignified guard of honour at the church, led by Niall's classmates from Drumragh Integrated College and the 1st Omagh Explorer Scouts. Many thanks to all at the Clanabogan Country Club for their kindness and support throughout, to Cathal Armstrong for the marquee and Kelly's Inn, for the lovely refreshments. The family trust that, although there are too many people to name individually, this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our very sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Kieran's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 23rd January 2016 @ 11.00 a.m., in St. Lawrence's Church, Fintona.
