McAULEY IRIS (Ne DOAK) The daughter and sons of the late Iris McAuley would like to express their most sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them on their recent very sad bereavement. Heartfelt thanks to those who brought or sent sympathy cards, letters, floral tributes and gifts, sincere thanks to those who attended the wake and funeral too. A special word of thanks to the Reverends McBeth and Peoples for their prayers and words of comfort at such a difficult time. Thanks too, to the ladies of Clooney Parish for providing such wonderful post-funeral refreshments, to David and Ruth Hay for their exemplary professionalism and overwhelming compassion as they carried out their funeral duties. Finally, the family would like to thank the incomparable Macmillan team, the carers who assisted our Mum in her final years, the amazing district nurses, whose support was unfaltering. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
